2048CatEdition

2048CatEdition is an Android version of the popular number puzzle game, 2048, originally developed in HTML 5 by Gabriele Cirulli in 2014. Here, however, there is a little add-on that makes the game even better: the squares that you need to merge don't just have numbers- they also have cats that change with the tile numbers.

Like the original game, 2048CatEdition players will have to move the squares from one side of a board to the other to try and create squares with the highest possible amount of points. Every time you move the squares in a certain direction, a new square will appear with double the amount. When you merge two squares of the same color, they will merge into a new square with the combined value of both titles. For example, by joining two 32 squares, you will get a new 64 title and, of course, the kitty that was in the 32 tiles will become a new cat that is unique to the 64 tile.

With this gameplay in mind, players will have to try to get the highest score possible by combining squares until they reach the value 2048 (hence the name of the game). However, getting to that point is a feat that most players will never manage to achieve, as it is easier to run out of space on the grid than to keep moving numbers.

2048CatEdition is a wonderful version of the brilliant original puzzle game that not only has the guaranteed success that comes from being based on one of the most popular puzzle games in the industry but also has something that everyone loves (or should love): cats!
